U.S. Department of State Country Reports on Human Rights Practices
Each year, the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor produces Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, which cover internationally recognized individual, civil, political, and worker rights. By law, the Secretary of State is required to submit reports for the preceding year to Congress by February 25.
This year, the 2012 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices were submitted to Congress on April 19, 2013. All 2012 country reports may be found online on the U.S. Department of State website.
