JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION:  Web / Database Application Developer

SALARY:     Commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package.

STATUS:     Exempt, Full Time

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), a nongovernmental, not-for-profit national organization dedicated to addressing the needs and rights of refugees and immigrants, is seeking experienced Web and Database Developer. Proficiency with Visual Studio, .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Transact-SQL, and ASP.NET are required. Ability to perform multi- tasks in a fast paced environment is essential.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to perform in all phases of company Web, and Database development using technologies available in-house including gathering requirements from end-users and Refugees Processing Center’s requirement, designing, implementation and testing. Administer, maintain, develop, upgrade, and implement current databases and web sites. Perform other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a college degree in Computer Science or related discipline with at least two years of experience with any major Websites, web application, and database development using Visual Studio, C#, .Net, Java, Transact-SQL. The successful candidate must have creativity and imagination to develop and maintain unique company website. Ability to work independently and to communicate effectively in oral and written English. SharePoint development and AWS experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
• Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands.
• Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying.
