USCRI: U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants

USCRI Des Moines Services

USCRI Des Moines provides a variety of resettlement services for refugees.  USCRI Des Moines’s programs are intended to help refugees learn English and become self-sufficient, contributing members of the local community.  USCRI Des Moines works in collaboration with local partners to provide support to refugees as they adjust to their new lives in the United States.  USCRI Des Moines serves the local community, as well, by providing opportunities for volunteers to better understand foreign cultures and, by doing so, to more fully participate as citizens of our diverse country.

For Employers
Refugees are hard-working and resilient employees.  USCRI Des Moines provides comprehensive employment placement and retention services to local businesses.  Our Employment Department evaluates refugees’ skills and makes the perfect employment match.
